1. TAC (Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals and Fertiliser Ltd)

Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (TFL) produces all grades of Soda Ash and coproduces Ammonium Chloride Fertilizer. It is located at Tuticorin, Tamilnadu contiguous to SPIC Fertilizer Plant. The major raw materials are Ammonia, Carbon-di-oxide gas, which are received from SPIC through pipe lines and the locally produced Salt. The Unit was set up in the year 1981 and is the only producer of Soda Ash in the South India. It has adopted an eco-friendly dual process, coproducing Ammonium Chloride Fertiliser.

3. AAVIN SALEM ::(SALEM DISTRICT CO-OPERATIVE MILK PRODUCER UNION LTD)

The prestigious Salem Dairy complex is situated in about in 46 acres of land bound by Sithanur and Dhalavaipatty villages. It is located just 6 km away from Salem railway Junction on the way to Govt. Medical College and Salem Steel Plant.

The Salem District Co-op. Milk Producers' Union Ltd., has been registered on 10.07.1978 and started functioning from 07-10-1978 . To begin with, the union started procuring 33,100 LPD of milk from 227 affiliated primary milk coop societies. Then gradually expanded its activities and now reached a daily average procurement of more than 4.0 lakh liters per day from 1049 functional DCS.

It is a Feeder Balancing Dairy i.e converting surplus milk solids into products like butter, ghee and Skim milk powder. The commercial production of products viz. Butter, Ghee and Skim Milk Powder started on 16-08-1983 . All the Union activities are fully computerized

4. VKS TUTICORIN

We have recently forayed into the broiler integration business. The venture was started primarily to cater to the rising demands of the domestic and international market. The integration model of growing chicken is a widely successful one. We own full value chain from grandparents, parent breeders, hatcheries, and commercial broiler farms, feed mills, chicken processing plantandretailchainoutlets.Presently in integration we are having a placement of 33.6 million birds per annum.The integration process from feed to commercial chicken is professionally managed with state of art technology at every stage.Biosecurity measures are taken at every stage and every farm at international standards. All feed formulations and management practices are completely research based. Quality control is done at every stage and monitoredbyultramodernlaboratories.We are one of the largest exporters of poultry from India. Chicken exports being our main area of growth focus, we are planning to extend the reach of Indian Chicken throughout the globe. The processing plant for exports and domestic market is set up on par with international standards near Coimbatore, equipped with the best machines in the world to produce highest quality of processed chicken.Biosecurity is implemented to International standards at the processing plant and related farms supplying to the processing plant.
