- Started Iodised salt production from the year 1998 and distributing through PDS scheme to eradicate Iodine Deficiency Disorders.
- Started Double Fortified Salt production from the year 1998 to eradicate anemia and iodine deficiency disorders.
- TNSC is an ISO 9001:2008 certified organization, obtained ISO certification during the year 2007.
- TNSC obtained FSSAI(Food Safety and Standard Authority of India) license for Fortified salt Production for the first time in the salt industry
- TNSC producing Iodised salt as per FSSAI act and confirming to BIS standards matching IS 7224:2006.
